Once you’re connected to your new plan, you can have peace of mind that your rate is set for 12 months. Standard rates are outlined in the following pricing brochures:

I’m on a demand or time-of-use pricing plan, can I choose the Good to Go plan and keep my current pricing plan?

No. The Good to Go plan is a flat-rate plan, so your pricing will be too. That means you’ll have one ‘cents per kilowatt hour (c/kWh)’ rate all day, every day.

Do I have to go on direct debit EvenPay?

No. You don’t have to set up EvenPay to sign up to the Good to Go plan, but it is an option for you if you would like to smooth your quarterly bills into smaller, more manageable payments.

With EvenPay, you'll have set, regular payments—so you’ll always know how much you need to pay and when. Choose between monthly or fortnightly billing options, and every six months, we’ll recalculate your payment amount based on your usage. You’ll only ever pay for the energy you use.

  • Things you need to know

By signing up using this form, you agree that you’re happy to sign up to the Good to Go plan (“the Plan”) which is an Ongoing Market Retail Contract with an initial 12-month benefit period for your electricity and gas.

Your first benefit period commences from when you accept the Plan or from when your account commences with ActewAGL if ActewAGL is not your current energy retailer.

You will be billed at energy charge rates published in the Good to Go plan pricing brochure.

Your first benefit period for electricity will be one of the following:

Single rate: 20% off the electricity reference price for 12 months.

Single rate with controlled load: 20% off the electricity reference price for 12 months.

The lowest possible electricity price of this offer depends on your tariff type, and is as follows:

    Single rate: $1,672

Single rate with controlled load: $2,104

The above annual bill amounts are based on an indicative customer in your region. That is 6,100 kWh a year (without controlled load) and 8,800 kWh a year (with controlled load). Your bill will depend on your actual usage.

Any discounts or credits will not apply to any miscellaneous ActewAGL charges, Greenchoice products or any government taxes, fees, charges or levies.

An ACT Small Generator Buyback rate of 7.2c/kWh applies to this market contract.

This offer is only available to residential customers located in the Evo Energy network region in ACT.

If you’re a joint account holder, this agreement covers you both.

Following acceptance of the Plan, you will be supplied with information relevant to the Plan including pricing, terms and conditions, a single written disclosure statement and cancellation and cooling-off notice via your preferred contact method either email or post.

You can cancel your agreement anytime by notifying ActewAGL in writing at ActewAGL Retail, 40 Bunda Street, Canberra ACT, 2600 by calling 13 14 93 or by emailing assist@actewagl.com.au

You have the right to a Standard Retail Contract with the designated retailer for your area that may not include a credit or a discount on your electricity or gas account.

You can raise disputes with ActewAGL. If you’re unhappy with the resolution provided, you can raise the dispute with the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal by calling (02) 6207 7740.

ActewAGL will contact you before your energy plan end date about a new benefit period. Your contract may be continued if you do not contact ActewAGL by the expiry of the energy plan.

If you are not currently an ActewAGL customer, ActewAGL will become your retailer for electricity and gas after your meter is read next which may take up to 4 months.
