Gas

Need to remove your gas meter? Request a gas meter abolishment and we’ll arrange it all with the gas network operator within 20 business days.

If you’re in the ACT, Queanbeyan, Bungendore or Shoalhaven, we’ll coordinate with the gas network to turn off the gas at the street, purge the gas line and remove the gas meter/s. This will cost $889.41 (incl GST) for a residential meter or $1,633.79 (incl GST) for a business meter.

If you’re in the Capital region (Boorowa, Goulburn, Yass and Young), we’ll arrange for the gas network to remove your gas meter and disconnect the service line at the street. This will cost $1,423.05 (incl GST) per meter.
