Your local energy provider
Our region’s energy is an important resource we all share. ActewAGL and our predecessors have been committed to the Canberra region for over 100 years so we have a big responsibility to the people who live here.
As one of the ACT’s largest employers, our complete operations are delivered from Canberra. It’s from the heart of the city that we deliver the best, most personal experience we can.
We’re here to inspire and implement energy solutions to empower you to waste less and save more. Our expert team are locals too, and truly understand your energy needs to provide personal energy advice and solutions.
Through our community partnerships, we fund and support various projects, organisations and events that make the capital region such a great place to live.
Along with the brightest minds in the national’s capital, we’re focused to reimagine energy now and for future generations.
We’re proudly Australian, and long with our predecessors, have been supplying reliable essential services to the capital region for more than 100 years.
The journey began in 1915 with the Kingston Powerhouse, which was built to supply the newly established national capital. Over the years, we've contributed to the building of Canberra’s vital infrastructure and we continue to lay the foundations for new suburbs and precincts.
