ACT same-day connection term and conditions
- ACT residential established site.
- Business days only. If you're moving today and need an urgent electricity connection, please complete an online request before 1pm. Alternatively, you can call us before 1:30pm to arrange a connection.
- Electricity supply only.
- Additional fees may apply.
- Resident must ensure there is safe and unhindered access to premises electricity meter.
- If the electricity at the premises is not connected, the resident must switch off the main power switch/switches on the switchboard.
- Follow and implement any other connection instructions provided by ActewAGL.
Situations resulting in ineligibility for same-day electricity connection in the ACT
- Request to connect to a premises that has not had electricity connected for 6 months or more.
- Request to connect to a premises deemed unsafe by ActewAGL.
- When delays are due to circumstances beyond ActewAGL’s control (for example, extreme weather, natural disasters).
- The meter at the premises is not accessible or removed.
- The meter is not in working order or is non-compliant.
- Wrong address or connection date was provided – or mistakenly, the power is believed not to be connected.
- When ActewAGL has requested the disconnection and the reason for the disconnection has not been rectified.

- NSW residential established site.
- Business days only. If you’re moving the next day and need an urgent electricity connection, please complete an online request before 2pm. Alternatively, you can call us before 3pm to arrange a connection.
- Electricity supply only.
- Additional fees may apply.
- Resident must ensure there is safe and unhindered access to premises electricity meter.
- If the electricity at the premises is not connected, the resident must switch off the main power switch/switches on the switchboard.
- Follow and implement any other connection instructions provided by ActewAGL.

- Request to connect to a premises that has not had electricity connected for 6 months or more.
- Request to connect to a premises deemed unsafe by ActewAGL.

- The meter at the premises is not accessible or removed.

*OZ Design terms and conditions
- Offer is available for a limited time and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
- Offer is available exclusively to households that book connection of their electricity supply online with ActewAGL for a property they are moving into.
- Voucher will be emailed to the energy account holder once the move of their electricity supply is completed. The offer is limited to one voucher per address.
- Vouchers can be redeemed online at www.ozdesignfurniture.com.au or in-store at OZ Design Fyshwick. Vouchers are non-transferable, and not redeemable with any other offer. Vouchers are valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issue.
