Add Greenchoice to your electricity plan
For a small cost on top of your electricity bill, you can contribute to the purchase of electricity from renewable sources, including wind power, biomass, hydro and solar.
This green energy is fed into the electricity grid, replacing electricity that would otherwise have been generated by fossil fuels—and that means reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
Fixed use plans are available to anyone, anywhere in Australia.
How much does it cost?
There are two ways to buy green energy through Greenchoice. You can opt for a fixed amount each day, or a variable amount based on a percentage of the electricity you use.
-
Fixed use option
This option means we’ll buy a fixed amount of green energy on your behalf each day. This way, you know exactly how much you will pay for Greenchoice, regardless of your total electricity use.
