ENERGY USE
Turn off multiple electronics at once with a power board.
Standby power can account for up to 3% of total energy costs as many appliances continue to draw standby power even when switched off. Easily switch off multiple electronic appliances and devices by using a power board. Look for a power board with an on/off switch or a timer. This will make it easy to turn off multiple devices at once. Then, plug in all the electronics you want to control at once into the power board. When you are ready to turn off all the electronics, simply switch the power off.
Remember to unplug the power board itself when electronics are not in use or when you will not be using them for an extended period. This will ensure that no electricity is wasted while the electronics are not in use.
